At Morningside we often make art projects from recycled materials such as baby food containers, plastic tubs, paper tubes, foam, scrap book papers, old toasters, telephone wire, dried beans, empty spice containers, etc…  We LOVE to upcycle these materials to create, build and tinker to our hearts content but we are running low and wondered if you might be able to help!  For Preschool, we need items for “prop boxes” (play materials grouped by theme)  for our Imaginative Play Learning Center and we also need “dress up” clothes for boys and girls!   Our Kindergarten class needs PC Based learning software for our newly created Computer Center (computers are about 5 years old).

Below you will find a list of our themes for the year — as you are cleaning out the basement, garage or junk drawers be on the look out for items that you might be getting rid of anyway that could have great play value!
